I’m a self-described consumer advocate. I am that one person who actually enjoys the grocery store. I worked there in high school. Early on, I was fascinated by how people walked the aisles and chose products.
I am a creative strategist who challenges convention and leverages research as the means to getting at deeper and more scalable (and sustainable) solutions.
I have conducted numerous qualitative research projects. I had the good fortune to be trained by the Brits that introduced account planning to the advertising business. Strategic work I’ve directed has resulted in EFFIES, Emmys, ADDYs and most importantly, greater marketing results.
I’m most proud to have helped instill a renewed sense of direction and vision in quite a few companies, large and small. Because, after all, it is about touching people – renewing the enthusiasm of staff and giving confidence to consumers.
I’ve led advertising and marketing agencies and started and successfully exited a couple. Today, I work on a contract basis for select CEOS and Marketing Directors of emerging businesses that are seriously looking to flip the status quo in their category.
